FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a recombinant nucleic acid molecule for increasing the efficiency of production of a transgene expressed in a mammalian cell. The recombinant nucleic acid molecule under the invention is designed to include a 5'-3' transposon-specific terminal repeat ITR, a nucleic acid encoding a TEP transgene protein or TEP RNA, and is complemented by an epigenetic regulatory element. In addition, a recombinant expression vector, a host cell, a method of expressing the encoded TEP, a method of transfecting a cell, and a kit for performing cell transfection are described.
EFFECT: in comparison with the known analogues, the invention demonstrates advantages in terms of the magnitude and quality of expression, including high stability of transgene expression and, if required, transport of the expressed product out of the cell.
