SUBSTANCE: incision is made in the mental area, namely in the mental fold, with open access to the medial part of the platysma. Next, a pocket is formed by separating the soft tissue from the periosteum according to the preoperative markings. The bottom of the pocket is the periosteum of the mental protuberance of the lower jaw; dissection of the skin flap from the platysma is performed. Next, subplatysmal adipose tissue is isolated, and subplatysmal adipose tissue is collected in the central zone of the chin area. The harvested subplatysmal fat autograft is modeled and moved in a prepared pocket. Afterwards, the subplatysmal fatty autograft is fixed with sutures, then layer-by-layer suturing of the wound is performed.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the projection of the chin protrusion with the formation of harmonious proportions of the cervical-mental region, the method is less traumatic, and also prevents the need for foreign materials.
