SUBSTANCE: used for the manufacture of space structures, in particular honeycomb panels intended for the manufacture, for example, of the bodies of unpressurized spacecraft (SC), which have embedded items intended for fastening structures, instruments and equipment on their surface. In the method of installing an embedded item in a honeycomb panel, one of the flanges of the embedded item is made with a support platform for resting on the surface of the honeycomb panel and ensuring adhesive contact with the skin of the honeycomb panel, and on the other flange of the embedded item a clamping element with a central hole is installed, which is bolted, passing through the central hole of the clamping element and the through interface hole of the embedded item, provide pressure in the adhesive layer between the support platform and the skin of the honeycomb panel. After polymerization of the adhesive layer, the pressing element is dismantled. The technical result is the possibility of introducing additional process operations (moving the honeycomb panel, applying a coating, x-rays, thermal cycling, etc.) between the operations of fixing the embedded item and introducing and applying the adhesive composition. At the same time, for the process of introducing and applying the foaming adhesive composition, there is no need for additional production devices.

EFFECT: increasing the flexibility, efficiency and efficiency of the technological process for manufacturing a honeycomb panel with embedded elements.
