SUBSTANCE: method for enzymatic production of 2'-fucosyllactose is proposed, which includes providing an E. coli cell genetically engineered to produce 2'-fucosyllactose, cultivating said genetically engineered E. coli cell in a culture medium allowing to produce 2'-fucosyllactose, where the main carbon source is a mixture of monosaccharides consisting of glucose and fructose, obtained by hydrolysis of sucrose; and isolation of 2'-fucosyllactose. In this case, the E. coli cell demonstrates the genotype pfkA^–, lacZ ^–, fuclK ^–, wcaJ ^–, overexpresses the enzymes ManB, ManC, Gmd and WcaG for the de novo synthesis of GDP-fucose, the geneα-1,2-fucosyltransferase and sugar efflux transporter gene yberc0001_9420 from Yersinia bercovieri ATCC 43970.
