FIELD: molecular biology.

SUBSTANCE: method of identifying single nucleotide polymorphisms in a multicopy genome locus using loop polymerase chain reaction followed by hybridization on a biological microchip is described. The method includes several stages of amplification, which are performed in one reaction volume at different primer annealing temperatures, as well as providing a biological microchip with immobilized oligonucleotide probes, hybridization of amplified fluorescently labeled products on a biological microchip, registration and interpretation of hybridization results.

EFFECT: ability to carry out the amplification steps in a single reaction volume, thus eliminating the need to carry out several successive PCR stages with the transfer of reaction products from one volume to the next.
