SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and a method of delivery suture material for suturing a hole in the tissue. The suture material delivery device for suturing a hole in the tissue contains an elongated deployment shaft, a needle deployment unit, a stabilizer, a gripping tube and a sheath. A method of delivery suture material for suturing a hole in the tissue includes providing an elongated deployment shaft, a needle deployment unit located on the shaft containing a group of needles carrying suture material, a stabilizer located on the shaft proximal to the needle deployment unit, a capture tube located coaxially so that it can slide over a shaft having a gripping assembly at a distal end and a sheath disposed coaxially and so that it can slide over the gripping tube; advancing the elongated deployment shaft in the body; changing the stabilizer configuration from a non-extended insertion profile to an extended profile; layering of tissue to be sutured between the distal end of the sheath and the extended stabilizer; deflection of the group of needles radially outward by the puncture angle from the insertion profile in the distal position with proximal movement relative to the shaft; moving the group of needles to a proximal position behind the gripping assembly by passing through the tissue to be sutured; engaging the gripping assembly with the first subset of the group of needles for the first time when moving distally from the proximal position, engaging the gripping assembly with the second subset of the group of needles for the second time after the first time after additional distal movement; holding at least a portion of each of the group of suture-carrying needles with a gripping assembly; and returning a portion of each of the group of needles not held by the gripping assembly to the insertion profile in a distal position.

EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to ensure the closure of holes in the patient's vascular network.
