FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: electrosurgical instrument for delivering electromagnetic power for coagulation or ablation of biological tissues comprises a coaxial supply cable for transmitting microwave energy, wherein the coaxial supply cable comprises an inner conductor, an outer conductor, and a dielectric material separating the inner conductor and the outer conductor; a tip of the instrument, located at the distal end of the coaxial supply cable, for receiving microwave energy; and a channel for a fluid medium, intended for transferring the fluid medium to the tip of the instrument. The tip of the instrument comprises: a dielectric main part; an emitting structure for emitting microwave energy to biological tissues. The emitting structure is formed in or on the dielectric main part and comprises a first electrode, electrically connected with the inner conductor, and a second electrode, electrically connected with the outer conductor. The first electrode and the second electrode are open on the outer surface of the dielectric main part. A hollow needle is in fluid communication with the channel for a fluid medium and is intended for delivering the fluid from the channel for a fluid mefium to the treated area. The emitting structure is coated with an insulating and non-sticking material. Disclosed are an alternative variant of implementation of the electrosurgical instrument and an electrosurgical system for delivering electromagnetic power.
EFFECT: prevented sticking of tissues to the tip of the instrument and facilitated use of the instrument.
