SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the devices for programming modular digital DC-DC converters. A method for setting the output voltage level of a DC-DC converter, including a test mode, during which, for a fixed time, the microcontroller polls the external circuits of the programming device, checks their operation and starts the test mode; after a fixed time, the test mode is turned off and the programming mode is turned on, in which voltage levels are set alternately and repeatedly at the output of the converter for a duration of 1 s, when the specified output voltage level is reached, the power to the converter is turned off, after which the power to the converter is turned on again, when the specified output voltage level is reached three times, the level of the specified output voltage is recorded in the non-volatile memory of the microcontroller, and the converter goes into normal operating mode, if in programming mode the converter is turned off three times at different output voltage levels, then the converter is reset and goes back to test mode, the output voltage level is not recorded.

EFFECT: providing the ability to configure the converter without using connectors and additional external elements.
