FIELD: needle coke production system.
SUBSTANCE: system consists of a coking column, a pressure-stabilizing column, a buffer tank and a coking fractionating column, wherein a pressure regulator is installed in the upper section of the pressure-stabilizing column to regulate the pressure in said upper section, the gas oil outlet of the coking column is located in communication with the gas oil inlet of the pressure-stabilizing column through a pipeline, and no pressure regulator for regulating the pressure in the upper section of the coking column is installed in the coking column or on the gas oil pipeline connecting the coking column to the pressure-stabilizing column. The invention is also related to a method for producing needle coke using the specified system.
EFFECT: increase of operational stability of the needle coke production process.
