SUBSTANCE: method of treating patients with chronic insomnia can be used in sanatorium-resort treatment. Electrosleep is performed using the orbitomastoid technique with a frequency of 10 Hz and a procedure time of 60 minutes. Then the scalp and neck-collar area is massaged daily. Group psychotherapy is conducted, health path at a temperature of at least 15°C, 4.6 km long, with a walking pace of 60–90 steps per minute, elevation angle from 8 to 12 degrees is performed every other day, during daylight hours. Cognitive behavioral therapy is also carried out in two sessions, the 1st at the beginning of treatment, the 2nd a week after the start of treatment, each session lasts 1–1.5 hours. Baths with mineral water from thermal radon springs — well 4E of the Belokurikha field, at a temperature of 37°C, with a radon concentration of 5.5–6.0 nCiu/dm³ are taken.

EFFECT: method provides increased efficiency of treatment of patients.
