SUBSTANCE: invention relates to isolated anti-VEGF antibodies or antigen-binding fragments thereof. The antibody described in the invention can specifically bind to VEGF with high affinity and block the binding of VEGF to VEGFR2 receptor. These antibodies also neutralize the proliferation effect of VEGF165 protein and multiple VEGF subtypes in HUVEC cells and can be used in the clinical treatment of diseases associated with increased expression of VEGF. The claimed invention also relates to a nucleic acid encoding an anti-VEGF antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, an expression vector containing the nucleic acid, a host cell, a method of producing an anti-VEGF antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of a disease associated with overexpression of VEGF, a method of treating colorectal cancer, the use of an anti-VEGF antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of colorectal cancer, a pharmaceutical combination for the treatment of a disease associated with overexpression of VEGF, and a kit for treatment a disease associated with increased expression of VEGF.
EFFECT: obtaining a humanized anti-VEGF monoclonal antibody.
