SURGICAL STAPLING INSTRUMENT WITH A FIXED JAW SUPPORT PIN Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/72

Abstract RU 2733479 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to surgical suturing instruments. Surgical stapling instrument comprises: (a) a body having a trigger mechanism configured to be selectively manipulated by an operator; (b) a shaft assembly extending from the body in a distal direction; and (c) an end effector extending from the shaft assembly in a distal direction and configured to receive a tissue manipulation cartridge, end effector comprises: (i) a distal end portion, (ii) a proximal end portion, (iii) a gap between the distal end portion and the proximal end portion, and (iv) a guiding pin extending from the distal end portion to the proximal portion, wherein guide pin is configured to accommodate tissue relative thereto for positioning tissue within gap, wherein the guide pin is connected to each of the distal and proximal end portions for fixing the distal end portion relative to the proximal end portion and preventing deviation of the distal end portion relative to the proximal end portion. Distal end portion has a distal hole for the pin, and the proximal end portion has a proximal hole for the pin, wherein the distal and proximal pin holes are opposite to each other and accommodating the guide pin, wherein the proximal pin hole includes a threaded nut, note here that guide pin is screwed into threaded nut for connection therewith.

EFFECT: surgical stapling instrument with a fixed support pin of the branch is proposed.
