FIELD: hot rolling mills.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for controlling drive motors of rolls of horizontal stands of hot rolling mills. The device contains a mill mode control system, subtraction blocks, summation blocks, a load division regulator, a proportional regulator for matching the rotation speeds of the lower and upper work rolls, a switch for additional correction modes for setting the rotation speed of the lower and upper work rolls. The output of said mode switch is connected to the second input of the summation block and to the second input of the third subtraction block. The first input of the said mode switch is connected to the output of the load division regulator, the second input is connected to the output of the mentioned proportional speed matching regulator, the third input is connected to the second output of the mill mode control system. The input of the mentioned proportional speed matching controller is connected to the output of the fifth subtraction block, the first and second inputs of which are connected to the outputs of the first and second subtraction blocks, respectively.

EFFECT: during rolling, controlled upward bending of the front end of the strip (sheet) is ensured.
