FIELD: construction; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the granulation of iron-containing slags, which can be used as an iron-containing additive in construction and metallurgy. A method for producing granular iron-containing slag involves mixing iron-containing slag obtained by wet cleaning of waste gases and iron-containing slag obtained by dry cleaning. First, at the site, iron-containing slag, obtained by wet cleaning of waste gases, is mixed with quicklime, formed into a waste heap and kept. Iron-containing slag obtained by dry cleaning is added to the resulting mixture, for which a mixture of iron-containing slag obtained by wet cleaning of exhaust gases with quicklime and iron-containing slag obtained by dry cleaning is laid out in layers, forming a multi-layer structure, which is also kept and then mixed. New waste heaps are formed from the resulting mixture. During the formation of new waste heaps, slag particles are formed into pellets with the formation of a crumbly structure of the mixture, while moisture is controlled.
EFFECT: it is possible to produce granulated iron-containing slags with the required moisture content and composition of iron content by using universal loading and unloading equipment.
