METHOD OF DIAGNOSTICS OF STRESS URINARY INCONTINENCE IN WOMEN OF REPRODUCTIVE AND PERIMENOPAUSAL AGE Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B8/00

SUBSTANCE: compression elastography is performed with a transvaginal sensor during 2D ultrasound scanning of the urethrovesical segment with average filling of the bladder. The control zone is located along the posterior surface of the lower edge of the pubic bone at the pubic symphysis, the zone of interest — ROI 1 is installed paraurethrally at a distance of 1 cm from the internal opening of the urethra along the edge of the posterior wall of the proximal urethra, the diameter of the selected zones is reduced to 1.5 mm. The average value of the deformation coefficient — SR of the paraurethral region of the posterior wall of the proximal urethra — ROI 1 is determined from three consecutive measurements in the area of interest, and if the average value of the deformation coefficient is less than or equal to 0.85, SUI is diagnosed. If the average value of the deformation coefficient is more than 0.85, SNM is excluded.

EFFECT: method increases the accuracy of diagnosing SUI in women of reproductive and perimenopausal age due to the developed algorithm for performing compression elastography, and expands the arsenal of diagnostic tools for stress urinary incontinence in women of reproductive and perimenopausal age.
