FIELD: medicine; cardiology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to cardiology, and discloses a granular composition for reduction in a level of cholesterol of low density lipoproteins (hereinafter – LDLP) in a subject who needs it, containing: 180 mg of bempedoic acid mixed with 3.5 mg of colloid silicon dioxide. The group of inventions also relates to a pharmaceutical composition, a method for granulation of bempedoic acid, to a two-layered tablet, to a method for the manufacture of a single-layered tablet, to a method for the manufacture of a two-layered tablet, to a kit, and to a method for reduction in a level of LDLP cholesterol.
EFFECT: improvement of physical and chemical properties of pharmaceutical compositions containing bempedoic acid.
