FIELD: nuclear industry.
SUBSTANCE: melt localization devices (hereinafter referred to as MLDs), equipped with a vessel for receiving and distributing the melt. The truss console of the melt localization device contains a power frame consisting of parallel and radial power ribs, outer, middle and inner shells, an upper power plate and a lower power plate forming external parallel and internal parallel sectors, and radial sectors placed between them. Additionally, it contains a manifold, as well as external radial sectors, first and second branch pipes passing through the outer power shell and intended for connecting the manifold with pipelines. The distance from the first pipe to one end of the manifold is less than the distance from the second pipe to the other end of this manifold. Sprinkling devices are located in some internal radial sectors and connected to distribution pipes. The outer parallel first sector and the inner parallel first sector are made empty, and the remaining outer and inner parallel and radial sectors are filled with protective concrete.
EFFECT: improving the reliability of the melt localization device.
