SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for simultaneous determination of the content of methanol and diethylene glycol in process fluids of the natural gas drying process and, in particular, in water-methanol solutions, industrial wastewater, as well as in formation water. A method for simultaneous determination of methanol and diethylene glycol in process liquids of the natural combustible gas drying process involves measuring the concentration of methanol and diethylene glycol using gas chromatography when programming the temperature of the chromatograph thermostat, followed by detection of components on a thermal conductivity detector.
EFFECT: automation and acceleration of the process, as well as a reduction in the amount of equipment and reagents used.
