FIELD: optical systems.
SUBSTANCE: optical system of the sub-display camera for image capture includes a partially transparent display screen with a periodic pixel structure; image sensor; at least one optical element disposed between the display screen and the image sensor, configured to form an image from an external scene on the image sensor; a controller configured to generate an image based on optical radiation from the external scene passing through the display screen to the image sensor; and an additional diffractive element made in the form of an array of elements with a periodic structure such that said array of elements overlaps the periodic structure of the pixels of the display screen with a shift of the elements of the said array of elements relative to the pixels of the periodic structure of the pixels of the display screen to redirect the unwanted part of the optical radiation.
EFFECT: improved quality of the generated image.
