SUBSTANCE: determining the size of the buffer for storing reference samples for prediction in the mode with intra-frame block copying; and performing a conversion between the current video block of the visual media and a data bit stream representation of the current video block using reference samples stored in the buffer, the conversion being performed in an intra-frame block copy mode that is based on motion information related to the reconstructed block located in the same video area as the current video block, without reference to the reference image.
EFFECT: increasing the encoding efficiency.
