SUBSTANCE: boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) system and a method for creating a treatment plan therefor, wherein the BNCT system comprises a neutron beam irradiation device, a treatment planning module and a control module. Neutron beam irradiation device is used to generate a therapeutic neutron beam during radiation therapy and radiation thereof on the irradiated body, which has taken the medicament containing boron (10V), to form the irradiated area. According to the medical image of the irradiated area and the therapeutic neutron beam parameter generated by the neutron beam irradiation device, the treatment planning module calculates the dose simulation and creates a treatment plan, wherein the medical image data of the irradiated area contain tissue-related information and boron (10V) concentration-related information. Control module selects, from the treatment planning module, a treatment plan corresponding to the irradiated body, and controls the neutron beam irradiation device for conducting the radiation therapy on the irradiated body in accordance with the treatment plan.
EFFECT: boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) system and method of creating a treatment plan in accordance with the present invention increases accuracy of model formation and dose calculation.
