SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a radioactive irradiation system and a method for controlling a radioactive irradiation system and can be used in radiation therapy. System comprises a beam irradiation device generating a therapeutic beam, a treatment plan module, as well as a control module controlling radiation of the beam irradiation device in accordance with the treatment plan. Treatment plan module is configured to simulate fluxes of neutrons and photons with reduced dispersion by an implicit capture method, a weight window method and a Russian roulette method and splitting and calculate a dose in accordance with the parameters of the therapeutic beam and medical imaging data of the irradiated area and generate a treatment plan.
EFFECT: shorter time for calculating radiation dose distribution by increasing the rate of calculating the radiation plan module, as well as reducing the memory used by the treatment plan module.
