SUBSTANCE: tool for isolating oocyte-cumulus complexes from mammalian ovaries. An instrument for isolating oocyte-cumulus complexes from mammalian ovaries consists of a metal plate in the form of a safety razor blade, and contains from 2 to 6 metal plates, made in the form of 1/2 part of a safety razor blade, folded parallel to each other and fixed with a holder in the form of an anatomical clamp or forceps. Between the plates, there are foil gaskets made with a thickness that provides a gap between the plates and an interval between incisions of the ovarian cortex from 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm, and a width that provides a cut depth of the ovarian cortex from 5 mm to 7 mm.

EFFECT: rapid and effective isolation of oocyte-cumulus complexes from ovarian follicles of different diameters without damaging the layer of cumulus cells.
