FIELD: glass fibres.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing finished glass fibres intended for special-purpose structural products in additive technologies. The method is based on sizing of glass fibre by applying a sizing composition from a solution, followed by drying in an oven under vacuum, and the sizing composition is a mixture of 1,3-dioxybenzene (1,3-DOB) and 1,3-DAB (1,3 -DAB), applied from a solution with a mass concentration of 0.65% in the organic, highly volatile solvent acetone, kept at 20°C for 6 min and a stepwise increase in temperature is carried out with simultaneous distillation of the solvent and exposure to ultrasound with an operating power of 35 kHz according to the following mode: 30°C - 5 min; 40°C - 5 min; 60°C - 10 min; 75°C - 15 minutes, while drying in a vacuum oven is carried out at 55÷56°C, and the quantitative ratio of the components is, wt.%: 96.5 - fiberglass, 0.5÷3.0 - 1.3-DOB, 3.0÷0.5 - 1.3-DAB. The invention also relates to a polymer composite material used in the production of structural products in additive technologies, containing, wt.%: 80 of polymer matrix based on polyetherimide and 20 of finished glass fibre obtained by the above method.
EFFECT: improvement in the thermal resistance of a polymer composite material based on a polyetherimide matrix polymer reinforced with finished glass fibre as a filler.
