FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: following is proposed: a recombinant plasmid pETZ, having the nucleotide sequence SEQ ID NO:1, size 6348 nucleotide pairs and containing elements in accordance with the physical and genetic map presented in Fig.2. The recombinant plasmid pETZ ensures the synthesis and secretion of recombinant protein A into the periplasmic space of E. coli cells in soluble form. Recombinant protein A has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3 and a molecular weight of 35.8 kDa. Recombinant protein A can be used for immunochemical assays.

EFFECT: inventions provide synthesis and secretion of protein A in E. coli cells up to 100 mg/l of culture medium and simplification of the technology for purifying the said protein A.
