SUBSTANCE: described is a group of inventions, including recombinant plasmid vector pET32-WNV-DIII, providing synthesis and secretion of recombinant domain III of structural glycoprotein E of West Nile virus in cells of bacteria E. coli, recombinant strain of cell line E. coli BL21(DE3)-DIII-WNV, producing recombinant protein DIII-WNV and recombinant protein DIII-WNV of glycoprotein E WNV, produced by recombinant cell line E. coli BL21(DE3)-DIII-WNV and intended for producing immunobiological preparations. In one embodiment, the recombinant plasmid vector contains the sequence SEQ ID NO:1.

EFFECT: obtaining a fragment of DIII protein E of West Nile virus (DIII-WNV) with a degree of purity of 90% and a final output of 35 mg from 1 l of culture for producing diagnostic agents and immunobiological preparations having higher virus-neutralizing activity against WNV.
