FIELD: cutting tools.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tool for cutting nails and can be used in the medical industry and everyday life. Nail clippers contain chrome steel handles connected to each other by a hinge joint. A return spring is installed between the handles. Cutting plates made of alloy steel or hard alloy are attached to the handles, having an angle between the front internal surfaces from 30 to 75° when closing. The handles have elongated ends, the outer horizontal surfaces of which have recesses. The cutting plates are installed in the mentioned recesses. Each cutting plate is soldered to the surface of each recess with at least two adjacent surfaces.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the connection between the cutting plates and the handles of the clippers for removing the length of the nail.
