SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an instrument for cuticle removal and can be used in medical industry and everyday life. Cuticle nippers comprise handles made of chrome-containing steel, hinged to each other. A return spring is installed between the handles, and cutting plates from alloyed steel or hard alloy are attached to the handles, having an angle between the front inner surfaces of 30° to 75°. Handles have elongated ends, external horizontal surfaces of which are inclined towards each other at an angle of up to 45° to the horizontal transverse plane of the nippers, as well as inclined at an angle of up to 50° to the horizontal longitudinal plane of the nippers. Cutting plates are soldered to said inclined surfaces.

EFFECT: increased reliability of connection of cutting plates and handles of cuticle nippers.
