FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing a tyre using a tyre vulcanization mould. A method for manufacturing a tyre includes vulcanizing an unvulcanized tyre using a tyre vulcanization mould, wherein the tyre vulcanization mould comprises: a tread forming surface comprising a groove forming portion and a tread forming portion; wherein the surface roughness Ra in the groove forming portion is less than the surface roughness Ra in the portion forming the running portion; the groove forming portion has a surface on which surface treatment is performed to reduce the surface roughness Ra of the groove forming portion compared with the surface roughness Ra of the surface forming portion; in the groove forming portion, the surface roughness Ra is the smallest and is 0.12 mcm or less in the region containing the main groove forming portion, and the surface roughness Ra in the portion forming the running portion is 3.2 mcm or more. In this case, when cleaning the tread-forming surface, it is irradiated with a laser beam to remove contaminants attached to the tread-forming surface, and when irradiated with a laser beam, an inert gas is supplied to the target area of the tread-forming surface, including the irradiation range to be irradiated by the laser beam, and the supplied the amount of inert gas is adjusted to set the concentration of inert gas in the irradiation range equal to the corresponding concentration range, thereby setting the oxygen content per unit volume in the target area to a predetermined reference value of 0.3 kg/m3 or less so that the target area is in a state low oxygen content. Here, to establish the said appropriate range of inert gas concentrations, the tread forming surface is cleaned with a laser beam under predetermined irradiation conditions in an atmosphere in which the inert gas concentration varies to a plurality of levels, thereby determining the extent to which the vulcanized rubber remains attached to the tread forming surface during the release time from said mould, and the inert gas concentration at which the vulcanized rubber does not remain attached to the tread-forming surface, are set equal to the specified range of inert gas concentrations under specified laser beam irradiation conditions. Moreover, the specific characteristics of the laser beam include: a Yb-YAG laser beam having a wavelength of 1030 nm, or an Nd-YAG laser beam having a wavelength of 1064 nm, an output power of the laser beam light source L of 1 W or more, and 5 kW or less, a pulse width of 1 ns or more and 500 ns or less, a pulse energy of 1 mJ or more and 0.1 J or less, a pulse frequency of 1 kHz or more and 100 kHz or less, flux intensity, being 0.5 J/m2 or more and 4.0 J/m2 or less, and a beam diameter of 0.1 mm or more and 3 mm or less.
EFFECT: method for manufacturing a tyre using a tyre vulcanization mould, which can ensure good performance of the tyre and at the same time avoid the problem of rubber pieces separating in the tyre over a long period of time.
