FIELD: aircraft testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique for testing aircraft elements, related to methods for reproducing aerodynamic force effects on the head of a rocket in ground conditions. The method includes reproducing the aerodynamic force load by a loading element installed on the surface of the fairing and resting on the load-bearing frame. The force load of the fairing under test is performed by a loading element in a given area of the fairing, made in the form of a hollow closed shell made of elastic material, the pressure in which is created by means of a pneumatic device, and the amount of pressure in the shell is controlled by changing the electrical voltage supplied to the pneumatic device.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the testing equipment, as well as increasing the accuracy of reproducing the aerodynamic force effect on the fairing and simplifying the static testing process.
