FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and aims at diagnosing the risk of neoplastic transformation of ovary endometriosis. If observing an elevated level of the CA125 tumor marker exceeding 35 E/ml in blood serum, in patients with clinically diagnosed "endometrioid ovarian cyst" or comorbid diagnoses: "endometrioid cyst and uterine leiomyoma", "endometrioid cyst and uterine adenomyosis" take an operating material. Then, after standard histologic wiring, it is poured into paraffin, 2 histologic sections are made and microscopic examination of histological sections is performed. That is followed by immunohistochemical examination with WT1 antibody, and interpretation of results of immunohistochemical examination with said antibody is carried out taking into account localization of positive cells in epithelium of endometrioid cystic ovarian formations by counting the number of colored epithelial cells per 100 cells in 10 fields of vision and intensity of staining, expressing the obtained quantitative results in percentage.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of reliable diagnosis of serous differentiation of epithelium of endometrioid cystic ovarian formations characteristic for the beginning of neoplastic transformation.
