FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of technology of cereal production, in particular to the technology of oatmeal production. Oat grains are steamed and pre-dried at a drying agent temperature of 100°C for 2 minutes, followed by drying in a drying chamber, after which it is cooled by spraying a 3% aqueous solution of table salt until the moisture content of the oat grain reaches 10–12%, with its further peeling under the influence of centrifugal forces.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the yield of finished products.
