SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol-generating product, a method for its manufacture and an aerosol-generating device containing such a product. The aerosol-generating article includes a fluid guide to allow the fluid to move. The fluid guide has a proximal end and a distal end. The fluid guide has an inner longitudinal section and an outer longitudinal section separated by a partition. The inner longitudinal portion comprises an inner longitudinal passage between a distal end and a proximal end. The outer longitudinal portion includes an outer longitudinal passage for communicating external fluid through at least one opening and along the outer longitudinal passage with a distal end of the fluid guide. The product also contains a tubular element that contains a gel. The gel contains an active substance to release volatile compounds into the fluid. The tubular element has a proximal end and a distal end and is located at the distal end of the fluid guide. The article also includes a cavity between the distal end of the fluid guide and the proximal end of the tubular element. The cavity is in fluid communication with the outer longitudinal passage and the inner longitudinal passage.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of delivery of an aerosol generated from a tubular element when heated by an aerosol-generating device.
