SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a new heterocyclic compound used as semiconductor layers for creating organic electronics devices. The compound of the invention is 2,6-bis-(4-( 9H -carbazol-9-yl)phenyl)-4-(4- N,N- diphenylaminophenyl)pyridine. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the compound of the invention, which is carried out by mixing 4-( N,N -diphenylamino)benzaldehyde and 4-(9-carbazolyl)phenylethanone in the presence of ammonium acetate and trifluoromethanesulfonic acid at 90°C in dimethylformamide, followed by isolation of the target product.

EFFECT: 2,6-bis-(4-(9H - carbazol-9-yl)phenyl)-4-(4- N,N- diphenylaminophenyl)pyridine for use as semiconductor layers for creating organic electronics devices.
