FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering, hydraulics, hydromechanics, and more specifically to hydraulic structures designed to damp energy after pressure water lines in intake chamber. Water flow energy damper includes hydraulic cylinder well 1 with water intake 2 and adjoining to it tangential inlet channel 3 (pipeline) and discharge pipeline 4. Perforated pipe 5 with receiving holes is installed in inner cavity of well 1. Inside the perforated tube there is auger shaft 16 with screw 17 connected to drive 18, and in the upper part of the perforated pipe there are holes for discharge of air released from water. In inner cavity of well 1 in upper part there is annular enveloping screen 10 of spherical shape with convexity upwards with bent ends downwards. Above screen 10 there is an additional air chamber connected to air tube 15 for air release into the atmosphere. When water enters the well with tangential inlet channel vortex chamber 20 is formed. Screw 17 is installed above annular gap of tapered bottom 7 of well 1 coaxially with it. Note here that annular horizontal flange 19 with annular clearance is secured in water well 1 below cone bottom 7 and arranged above exhaust pipeline 4 outlet.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of operation on the way of non-stationary flow of liquid due to local collisions towards water-well well, simplified design and reduced bottom speeds in flow.
