FIELD: hydraulic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the hydraulic equipment and can be used for the water flow quenching downstream the pressure water lines in the hydraulic stilling basin. Water flow energy absorber includes the water conduit 1 horizontal section and the basin 9. Basin 9 has the inlet branch pipe 2 and nozzle 4 made in the form of truncated cone and by the smaller diameter connected to the branch pipe 2. On the nozzle 4 outer wall, on the larger diameter side, the cylinder 6 is installed with possibility of axial displacement. In the nozzle 4 inner cavity conical divider 5 is installed coaxially with it and with the annular gap 7. At that, in the cavity between the nozzle 4 inner wall and the conical divider 5 outer wall, guide plates 3 are installed at an angle to the conical divider 5 axis, at the same distance from each other. Guide plates 3 inclination angle to the conical divider 5 axis is greater than the conical divider generatrix inclination angle in its axis. Annular horizontal flange 8 with the annular gap is fixed in the hydraulic stilling basin 9 below the conical divider 5 and is positioned above the discharge pipeline 10 outlet.
EFFECT: increase in the water flow dissipating discharge into the hydraulic stilling basin efficiency, the structure is simplified and the bottom velocities in the stream are reduced.
