METHOD OF PREDICTING DEVELOPMENT OF THROMBOEMBOLIC COMPLICATIONS IN PATIENTS WITH COVID-19 Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B6/03 A61B5/145 G01N33/68

Abstract RU 2812718 C1

FIELD: medicine; therapy; cardiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the development of thromboembolic complications (TEC) in patients with COVID-19. The following is determined: age, the percentage of damage to the lung tissue according to computed tomography of the chest (CT chest), oxygen saturation in atmospheric air at the time of admission to the hospital is less than or more than 95%, the concentration of albumin in the blood plasma at the time of admission to the hospital, as well as the presence absence of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Based on the indicators obtained, the risk of developing feasibility study (r) is determined according to a given formula. And with a p value greater than or equal to 20.64%, a high risk of developing TEC is predicted; with a p value less than 20.64%, a low risk of developing TEC during hospitalization is predicted.

EFFECT: method allows to choose the optimal tactics for patient management and allows to carry out treatment measures in a timely manner by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
