FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to restorative medicine, namely to osteochondrosis treatment and prevention by compression-traction therapy in therapeutic and health-improving gymnastics. Performing a set of physical exercises for the lumbar and thoracic spine, wherein the exercises are performed from a standing position, and a set of physical exercises for the cervical and thoracic spine, exercises are performed from a lying position; compression effect is performed with isometric tension of spinal muscles. Shoulder girdle is fixed with a graduated external burden.
EFFECT: method provides reducing the size of osteophytes, increasing the distance between the vertebrae, strengthening the tendon-ligamentous apparatus of the vertebrae, improved blood circulation in the spinal vessels, straightening the curved spine.
