FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method and device for a comprehensive assessment of the parameters of electrovacuum devices (hereinafter - EVD) of ultra-high frequency (hereinafter - microwave) when operating together with electrical power systems at the stages of production (input control, adjustment, setting, testing), operation. A method for assessing the current state of a microwave electronic device includes stages at which the input and output voltages and/or currents of a microwave electronic device are measured, these values are digitized in an analog-to-digital converter, and the values are transferred to a computing device in which mathematical operations are carried out with digital values of voltages and/or currents, measure the fluctuation parameters of the high-frequency (hereinafter - HF) pulse envelope, compare the values of voltages and/or currents with specified criteria to assess the nature of the change over time. The complex contains voltage and current sensors, an RF oscillation envelope detector, an analog-to-digital converter, a computing device capable of collecting and accumulating measured values, performing mathematical operations with the specified values and comparing them with specified criteria.
EFFECT: providing an assessment of the current state of microwave electronics, as well as simultaneous prediction of the reliability of microwave electronics, including non-heated magnetrons.
