FIELD: laser radiation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for amplifying laser radiation and can be used in communication devices for transmitting information and control signals. A method for increasing the generation energy of a diamond NV laser is ensured by the fact that a single-crystal diamond containing substituting nitrogen NS with a concentration of 20-250 ppm and NV centres in a negative charge state with a concentration of 2.5-5.0% of the NS concentration. It is irradiated with a pulsed laser radiation of the second harmonic of an Nd:YAG laser with a wavelength of 532 nm and additionally continuous or pulse-periodic low-intensity radiation.
EFFECT: increase in the energy of laser radiation created by a diamond NV laser.
