SUBSTANCE: formation of the corneal-prosthetic complex is carried out using a femtosecond laser, an entrance tunnel is formed with a width of 5.5 mm and a length of 0.9 mm, located to the right of the edge of the intrastromal pocket (ISP), corresponding to the dimensions of the implanted supporting part of the keratoprosthesis, the major axis of which is 6.5 mm, minor axis is 5.5 mm, with an external hole in the area of the edge of the corneal-prosthetic complex and the angle of the plane relative to the plane of the ISC is 0°.
EFFECT: method ensures a stable position of the keratoprosthesis support plate in the stroma of the donor cornea, which reduces the risk of protrusion of the keratoprosthesis in the future, avoids the cutting of sutures and, accordingly, the release of the keratoprosthesis support plate in the postoperative period, and also reduces the risk of damage to the implant and postoperative inflammatory reaction.
