FIELD: hydroacoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention serves to obtain more complete data about detected objects and the area of operation of the station carrier. The result is achieved by proposing a navigation hydroacoustic station for short-range sensing (NHAS SRS), containing two antennas, one of which is a bow one, emitting a probing signal in the direction of the sonar movement, connected through the first and second transmit-receive switches to the first and second generators of the probing signal, an identification unit, a first processing processor, the input of which is connected to the output of the first reception-transmission switch, and the output is connected to a control and display system, while the first and second outputs of the control system are connected to the inputs of the first and second transmission-reception switches, respectively, characterized in that the second antenna installed on the submarine's wheelhouse is cylindrical with the ability to radiate in a vertical hemisphere, with vertical and horizontal channels, blocks for forming vertical and horizontal channels, second and third processing processors and a classification system have been introduced into the NHAS SRS.
EFFECT: simultaneous overview of the space and an increase in the reliability of the classification of detected targets.
