SUBSTANCE: method of express analysis of the antioxidant capacity of individual compounds and compositions, as well as biological fluids, using a test system including test strips is disclosed. The testing slot of the test strip is an absorbent material fixed on a non-absorbent substrate to prevent interaction with adjacent slots and impregnated with a colored reagent — a solution of radicals 2.2'-azinobis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acids), in an amount equivalent to the determined range of Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity, hereinafter referred to as TEAC, and the measurement is the application of 4–6 mcl of purified water or distilled water, followed by by adding 4–6 mcl of the test substance and is considered complete after 4–6 minutes or after the slot is completely bleached, and the conclusion about the compliance of the antioxidant capacity of the test sample with one of the TEAC reference ranges is made based on a visual comparison of the used bleached slots with the comparison slot and slot definition, equivalent to the larger TEAC value and the next slot after it, corresponding to the smaller TEAC value.

EFFECT: invention provides the ability to perform a test that is portable, test duration is not more than 4–6 minutes and is universal.
