FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention describes a system for controlling multi-point synchronous braking of a monorail elevator and a method of using it. System comprises a contact detection unit, a common end roller unit, a hydraulic unit, a synchronous control unit and connecting cables. Contact detection unit is installed on the brake shoe of the monorail elevator. Unit of common end roller is installed on guide and connected to frame of monorail elevator. Contact detection unit includes a tube connected to the brake shoe. Inside the tube there is a metal probe corresponding to the guide. Round projection is formed on the metal probe. Limiting bolt corresponding to round projection is made on inner wall of pipe. Metal probe can contact the guide or the limiting bolt when braking the brake shoe. Brake shoe is connected to hydraulic unit via brake lever. Metal probe, limiting bolt, hydraulic unit and unit of common end roller are electrically connected to synchronous control unit by connecting cables.

EFFECT: as a result, the problem of controlling multi-point synchronous braking of a monorail elevator is effectively solved to increase the safety of braking the monorail elevators.
