SUBSTANCE: composition for use in an aerosol generating system, an aerosol generating article and an aerosol generating system. Composition (311) contains one or more substances for forming an aerosol; and one or more polymers selected from the group consisting of: polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, polyglycolic acid, polylactic acid, polydioxanone, polycaprolactone, polyethylene, polypropylene glycol and starch. In this case, composition (311) has a melting point from 100 degrees Celsius to 300 degrees Celsius. An aerosol generating article (300) for use in an aerosol generating system contains a composition (311). The invention also relates to an aerosol generating system that includes a composition (311) and a puffer (322) configured to generate an aerosol from the composition (311).

EFFECT: creating a composition with a reduced risk of leakage compared to conventional compositions when used in an aerosol generating system.
