METHOD OF DETERMINING SEVERITY OF DYNAMIC AND BIOMECHANICAL DISORDERS IN WALKING AND RUNNING Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B5/103 G06T3/00 G06V10/44

Abstract RU 2814503 C1

FIELD: medicine; orthopaedics; neurology; traumatology; functional diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to quantify dynamic and biomechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system in basic locomotion. The following is proposed: a method in which video recording of 10 cycles of walking and running performed on a treadmill in the frontal and sagittal planes is carried out, followed by software analysis and assessment of the magnitude of deviation from the average values of the range of motion in these locomotions. Using a protractor, changes in the sagittal plane are assessed; deviations in the frontal plane are determined in accordance with the parameters of possible violations, for each of which points are assigned. The final diagnostic result is determined by the number of points scored based on the results of pattern analysis; the higher the quantitative indicator, the more complex the motor disorders of the subject.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the volume of useful information about the system of human motor patterns obtained in the course of biomechanical studies, and an increase in the quality of its interpretation.
