FIELD: various technological processes; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing linear perfluorinated saturated polymers by fluoridation of initial polymers with a gaseous mixture of fluorine and nitrogen at heating and excess pressure of 2.4–2.5 kg/cm2. Method is characterized by the fact that the initial polymer used is ultrafine polytetrafluoroethylene containing various molecular fractions of polytetrafluoroethylene with double terminal carbon bonds, including those obtained by partial thermal destruction of fluoroplastic-4, as well as separate separated by sublimation fractions of initial polymer, wherein fluorination is carried out at volume ratio of gaseous fluorine F2 and gaseous nitrogen N2 equal to 10–25:75–90, at temperature 80–120 °C for 4–8 hours.
EFFECT: reducing the cost of manufactured products and increasing the profitability of the proposed method by simplifying the process of its implementation and reducing the cost of its hardware.
