FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a modified conjugated diene-based polymer, a method of its preparation, as well as a rubber composition comprising it. The modified conjugated diene polymer includes a first chain containing a repeating unit derived from a conjugated diene monomer; a second chain containing a repeating unit derived from the compound represented by Formula 1

wherein each of R11a and R11b independently represents a single bond or an unsubstituted alkylene group of 1–20 carbon atoms, R11c represents an alkyl group of 1–20 carbon atoms, and each of R11d-R11g independently represents an alkyl group with 1–20 carbon atoms; an alkenyl group with 2–20 carbon atoms; an alkynyl group with 2–20 carbon atoms; or a cycloalkyl group with 5–20 carbon atoms, and a unit derived from an alkoxysilane-based modifier. The first and second chains are connected by a link obtained from the modifier.

EFFECT: resulting polymer has excellent processability as well as good tensile strength and viscoelastic properties.
