FIELD: various technological processes; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction of iron with admixtures of polymetals from iron-containing bottom waters of subaquatic loading. Method involves reduction of metal cations to a metal state in the presence of reducing agents — autochthonous microorganisms contained in bottom water. Bottom water is passed in flow mode through an incubator tray to extract nanoparticles of reduced metals sorbed by microorganisms; filtration is carried out using a sterilizing filter. Filtered water with non-adsorbed metal nanoparticles is transferred to an additional trapping tray, which is equipped with a magnet.
EFFECT: method consists in efficient and environmentally safe extraction of iron and other metals from above-silt waters from subaquatic discharge zones.
