METHOD FOR NON-INVASIVE DIAGNOSTICS OF MORPHOFUNCTIONAL DISORDERS IN SPLEEN WITH PORTAL HYPERTENSION Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B6/00

Abstract RU 2815256 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to radiation diagnostics and can be used for non-invasive diagnosis of morphofunctional disorders in the spleen in portal hypertension. Magnetic resonance imaging of the spleen is performed in diffusion-weighted image mode. If there are diffusion restrictions such as white colour, uniform in nature, then an increase in the relative volume of the white pulp, an increase in the density of cellular elements in the lymph nodes and periarterial couplings, an increase in the severity of the macrophage reaction, the formation of plasmablasts and plasma cells, and an increase in apoptosis from the lymphoid component of the spleen are diagnosed. If there is no diffusion limitation, black colour in the spleen parenchyma, then emptying of the white pulp of the spleen is diagnosed, a decrease in its relative volume with an increase in the volume of the red pulp. If there is a restriction of diffusion such as a white colour of an uneven nature, then the absence of morphofunctional disorders in the spleen is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method provides the ability to analyse the morphology of the spleen in the interpretation of its changes in the diagnosis of diseases with the development of portal hypertension using the presented parameters.
